  3. Generally, you are taken to a site that looks like the PayPal site that asks for personal information. Normally, PayPal wouldn’t emial you asking for that kind of info.

  4. So when you don’t give that information you’re in the clear? Or can clicking on the link itself be a problem too?

  5. Giving the information is the problem. Clicking the link won’t cause any problems. Just make sure you keep your system up-to-date (Windows Updates, etc) and no link can hurt you unless you give them your personal info.
